Phillips 66® VersaTrans CVT Plus Fluid is a unique premium quality, full-synthetic transmission fluid specifically designed for use in passenger cars and trucks with belt and chain driven continuously variable transmissions as well as step type automatic transmissions. It has been specifically engineered to have the unique frictional properties required for protection and performance across all three types of transmissions. Its performance has been proven with over 1 million accumulated miles of testing in CVT and step type automatic transmissions. VersaTrans CVT Plus Fluid has unique and carefully balanced frictional properties to protect against belt and chain slippage, variator wear and noise generation while also providing excellent anti-shudder and torque capacity performance over the life of the fluid. It has high shear stability and excellent oxidation resistance for long service life. It also helps protect against sludge and varnish formation and has excellent low-temperature properties for easier shifting in cold weather. The synthetic formulation provides enhanced performance benefits at extreme temperatures compared with conventional, all-mineral transmission fluids. VersaTrans CVT Plus Fluid is recommended for most VW/Audi, Honda, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, Subaru and Toyota vehicles with CVT transmissions. CVT Plus Fluid is also recommended in many step type automatic transmission applications that do not require a licensed step type automatic transmission fluid.
