Presidential Type F Transmission Fluid is a high-friction, high-performance transmission oil Type F, made for older automatic transmissions and classic vehicles.

This transmission oil Type F delivers fast, firm shifts and is specifically designed for pre-1977 transmissions and select 1977–1980 models that call for Ford ATF Type F.

Its non-friction-modified formula allows clutches to engage quickly, giving drivers the responsive feel they expect in motorsports and vintage performance applications. If you’re restoring a classic, running vintage equipment, or tuning for track conditions, this racing transmission oil ensures consistency under extreme conditions.

Blended with premium base oils and advanced additives, Presidential Type F meets ESW-M2C33-F and ESW-M2C33-G specifications. It’s ideal for older Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles, including 1980 and earlier Lincolns and 1978 and earlier Ford cars, vans, and light trucks. It also works in older Ford power steering systems, but is not suitable for applications requiring MERCON® or DEXRON® fluids.
